Cafe & Events Assistant — Part-Time, Flexible Hours

Orkney Islands Council is recruiting a Centre Assistant for Kirkwall and St Ola Community Centre and Town Hall. The role is 16 hours per week on a 3-week rota and permanent.

You will work mainly in the café serving the public, preparing, cooking and serving foods and beverages, plus cleaning the kitchen areas.

The post includes setting up and clearing meeting rooms, washing dishes, stock control and maintaining high standards of hygiene. Applications close 16 August 2026.
