You will work alongside senior lawyers on nationally significant cases, managing a varied caseload and liaising with clients, experts and counsel. Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist with a varied caseload of catastrophic and large loss injury matters
  • Handle complex motor, EL/PL and public liability claims, brain and spinal injury cases, and chronic pain issues
  • Contribute to pre-litigation and litigated files and coordinate with clients, insurers, experts and counsel
  • Collaborate with a high-performing team and support client service standards
  • Assist senior lawyers on nationally significant, technically challenging cases
  • Engage in business development activities and attend client events
  • Deliver timely, high-quality work while working efficiently under pressure

Key requirements

  • 2+ years PQE (Solicitor or CILEX with equivalent experience)
  • Experience in catastrophic injury defence work
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in managing client relationships and attending BD events
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work commercially and under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
