Human Resources Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead HR operations for the EMEA region from our London office, partnering with senior leaders and the CHRO. You will advise on employee relations and coach leaders, while ensuring payroll coordination with the global team and compliance with local laws. You will drive HR transformation projects, implement policies, and provide metrics to guide people decisions. You will oversee onboarding/offboarding and immigration matters, and manage a London-based HR team, gaining visibility across a global HR function.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations for the EMEA region and ensure alignment with local law and company policies
• Advise leaders on employee relations, coach on handling issues, and mitigate risk
• Oversee payroll processes with the global payroll team
• Stay updated on local legislative changes and update contracts and policies accordingly
• Provide HR metrics (engagement, turnover) to inform people decisions
• Collaborate with global HR (Payroll, L&D, Benefits, HRIS) on transformation projects
• Ensure timely response to employee issues and oversee onboarding/offboarding
• Manage immigration matters with a third-party law firm, including visa applications and tracking
• Lead a London-based HR team of two (Generalist and Specialist) and support development

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; minimum 8 years of HR experience, preferably in financial services
• UK employment law exposure; Jersey and Italy desirable
• Analytical and solution-focused with independent thinking
• Results-oriented in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization
• Change-oriented and an advocate for transformation
• Concise information synthesis and self-motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
• Occasional travel; excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
• Experience with Workday and Greenhouse (ideal but not required)
