Senior Project Controller

Overview

In this role you drive project controls across large energy projects, partnering with Project Directors and cross-functional teams to enable aligned governance and reliable performance. You’ll integrate cost, schedule, risk and change management to provide a clear view of project health, while advancing best practices and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Control Plan aligned with objectives and governance
• Lead project start-up activities and establish controls, systems and reporting
• Act as primary contact for cost, risk, performance and reporting with project teams and customers
• Integrate schedule, cost, risk, forecasting and scope change management for a comprehensive view
• Lead implementation and ongoing management of project controls tools and reporting methods
• Provide performance analytics, identify trends, risks, opportunities and corrective actions
• Support governance reviews, customer meetings, and present project controls insights
• Engage stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across the controls function

Key requirements

• Proven experience in project controls on large-scale oil & gas, energy, engineering or industrial projects
• Strong grasp of planning/scheduling, cost management, risk management, forecasting, performance analysis and change management
• Experience implementing and assuring project controls governance and best practices
• Analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills with clear communication
• Proficiency with project controls tools (MSP, Primavera P6, Unifier, ERP, ARM) or similar software
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy
