Overview
In this role you will lead Rockstar’s Game Security team to protect players and the online experience from cheaters, vulnerabilities, and exploits. You’ll design and implement processes to strengthen the security program and collaborate with analytics, product, and leadership to advance tools and practices. Based in Leeds, you will guide live-service and AAA multiplayer security operations, driving measurable improvements in risk and player trust. You’ll shape cross-functional security initiatives and mentor a diverse team to scale impact across titles.
Responsibilities
- Leverage subject matter expertise to develop anti-cheat initiatives and protect live service integrity
- Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team responsible for day-to-day anti-cheat operations for online titles
- Set team priorities, allocate resources, and plan for future growth to meet objectives
- Establish and standardise operational processes, tools, and best practices
- Contribute to risk and performance indicators in partnership with analytics and insights
- Partner with product management, production, and leadership to define technology, tooling, and process advancements for online player protection
Key requirements
- 5+ years in game security, anti-cheat, anti-fraud, or related security functions
- 3+ years leading high-performing, geographically dispersed teams
- Experience supporting live service or large-scale AAA multiplayer games
- Excellent verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong ability to translate strategic goals into actionable operational objectives
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to distill complex issues into structured frameworks
