Waste Collection Driver (7.5t) – 4-Day Week

Derby City Council is seeking a Refuse Driver/Collector to support the city’s refuse and recycling operations from about 130,000 homes. You will drive and supervise crews, ensuring safety and vehicle readiness while delivering a reliable collection service.

The role offers 37 hours over four days (Tue–Fri, 06:00–15:45) with potential overtime and a full induction. Applicants must have LGV/C1 license with Driver CPC and be physically capable of walking long distances in all weather.
