Overview
In this role you will drive electrical project delivery within Galliford Try’s Environment business. You’ll oversee early surveys, design coordination, and on-site construction support to ensure quality and compliance across Waste Non-Infrastructure projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external designers, promoting safety and sustainable practices. This is a hands-on position with a clear impact on project outcomes and the company’s environmental goals.

Responsibilities
- Support delivery of Waste Non-Infrastructure projects across all phases
- Coordinate with internal teams and external designers (Structural, Electrical & Mechanical)
- Manage subcontractors during site investigations, design and construction
- Produce construction-stage documentation and secure permits/approvals
- Participate in design and progress meetings; mentor junior team members
- Ensure project compliance using the Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Drive safety and collaboration in line with Health, Safety and Environment culture
Key requirements
- Recognised electrical engineering qualifications
- Industry experience in infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of NEC 4 contracts and sustainable development principles
- Knowledge of CDM regulations, current legislation, QA, and Health & Safety procedures
- Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
