Overview

In this role you lead a high‑profile estate transformation programme for a public sector client. You coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders to deliver on objectives, timescales, and budgets, while aligning with sustainability goals. You work closely with client teams and external consultants to implement an estate strategy that optimises the property portfolio and supports future organisational needs. Based in Gloucestershire with up to four days on‑site, you play a visible part in delivering meaningful organisational change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of an estate transformation programme across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate stakeholders, including client teams, external consultants and senior leaders
  • Oversee governance, budget management, resource planning, risk management and performance reporting
  • Ensure activities align with client priorities, operational needs and sustainability goals
  • Maintain proactive stakeholder engagement throughout the programme lifecycle
  • Support feasibility studies and delivery of property rationalisation, relocations, disposals and optimisation initiatives
  • Work on-site in Gloucestershire up to four days per week as required
  • Contribute to building a robust programme approach with strategy and digital experience teams

Key requirements

  • Experienced Programme Manager
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale estate transformation projects
  • Experience working with complex stakeholder environments
  • Public sector client experience
  • Ability to manage governance, budgets, resources and risks
  • Stakeholder engagement and senior sponsorship management
  • Location in Gloucestershire or willingness to be on-site
  • Knowledge of property rationalisation and relocation projects would be advantageous
