Data Quality Metrics Specialist – Associate

Overview

In this role, you will design, implement and monitor standardized data quality metrics to support the Firm’s Data Quality Program. You work within the Data Quality Controls & Metrics team to advance automated metric production and strengthen governance. You’ll partner with data stakeholders to apply the Data Quality Program framework across metrics and monitoring, and you’ll help scale practices through training and guidance. This is an opportunity to shape data quality maturity in a global financial services leader.

Responsibilities

• Advise stakeholders on the implementation of data quality metrics
• Provide SME guidance for transitioning to automated metric production
• Maintain inventory of DQ metrics
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key DQ stakeholders
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders and coordinate metric lifecycle
• Devise methods to apply DQ Program framework to metrics and monitoring
• Train team members and other DQ risk officers on metrics

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of data lifecycle and data quality prioritization
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to influence
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive projects through to completion
• Experience in data/information risk, data governance, data architecture, or enterprise data modeling (desirable)
• Experience driving adoption of new programs and processes (plus)
