About us

DRAYTON is a long-established promotional merchandise company (40 years) based in Reading. We provide creative merchandise ideas and solutions to clients across a huge variety of sectors. Anything from a cupcake to a Christmas bauble, or a parasol to a full exhibition stand. With a large range of in-house branding machinery and a 3,500 sq ft showroom, we also look after logistics and build webstores to support clients’ events and exhibitions, shipping materials worldwide.

The role

We’re seeking an intelligent, fast-learning Sales Coordinator who can handle a variety of administrative tasks, support our sales team, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage web orders for event merchandise, including updating our webstore, picking and packing goods, and dispatching via couriers to UK and overseas locations
  • Support the sales team by liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
  • Learn and maintain our software systems to update order details, deliveries, invoices, and incoming stock
  • Oversee the checking in of goods delivered to our premises
  • Coordinate time-sensitive deliveries of event materials (including exhibition stands, displays, and merchandise) to multiple locations
  • Handle client gift deliveries worldwide, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and pleasant manner in all client and supplier interactions, whether on the phone or face to face

This role has a clear progression path to a Sales Account Manager position after approximately one year of successful performance. As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll take on increased responsibility for client relationships, strategic sales planning, and account growth.
