Overview
As PFI Partnerships Manager you will lead the Council’s Property PFI team and govern its PFI contracts to secure best outcomes for assets and communities. You will shape future property management arrangements, support contract expiry planning, and provide specialist advice on PFI/PPP matters. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders and external partners to deliver high-impact property programmes and ensure compliance with standards. This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity within a dynamic, mission‑driven council.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Property PFI team and oversee governance and performance of property-related PFI contracts
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and industry best practice
- Prepare for contract expiry and hand back, developing future property management arrangements
- Provide specialist advice on PFI, PPP and property matters to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with government departments, NHS, schools, academies and private sector partners
- Support delivery of complex programmes with city-wide impact
- Contribute to the Property Services leadership team and align with Council objectives
- Build strong relationships with elected members and senior leaders across sectors
