Product Manager

Overview

In this role you will guide AI product development from concept to production, collaborating with ML, backend, and mobile engineers. You’ll define end-to-end AI product requirements, balancing technical feasibility with user impact and business value. You’ll evaluate systems, improve prompts and pipelines, and shape model behavior in production. This is a fast-paced role at an AI startup, offering a clear impact on product direction and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end AI product requirements, covering technical capabilities, system behavior, UX, and business impact
• Collaborate with ML, backend, and mobile engineers on system design, evaluation, and iteration
• Drive AI evaluation, prompt and pipeline optimisation, and monitoring of model behavior in production
• Balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Key requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or related field from a Russell Group university
• Strong CS foundation, system design, and machine learning experience
• Proven track record leading complex AI-powered products end-to-end
• Experience with LLM-based systems and deploying AI in production
• Deep understanding of AI evaluation, prompt/pipeline optimisation, model reliability and bias
• Excellent product judgment and prioritisation in dynamic contexts
