Overview

In this Senior Cost Manager role, you will lead cost management for UK & EMEA corporate portfolios, shaping commercial strategy and delivering best-in-class outcomes for global occupier clients. You’ll work within the Enterprise Project Management team, mentoring peers and driving multi-market bids and best practices. You provide strategic cost advice from feasibility through to close-out, balancing cost, quality, and risk. This role offers impact across corporate fit-out and workplace projects, partnering with senior stakeholders to enable successful delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre- and post-contract cost management for corporate fit-out and workplace projects (offices, labs, call centres, flexible spaces)
  • Provide strategic cost advice at feasibility and business case stages, including option appraisals, cost planning and value engineering
  • Produce and present clear, robust cost reports to senior corporate stakeholders
  • Manage project financials from inception to close-out, including change control and final account settlement
  • Act as trusted commercial advisor to clients, balancing cost, quality, programme and risk
  • Collaborate with the EPM team to maintain best practice for Occupier Services across EMEA
  • Support multi-market bids and mentoring within the Cost Management community

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in cost management for corporate fit-out/occupier projects
  • Proven ability to engage blue-chip corporate clients and senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of commercial offices and workplace delivery in UK and/or EMEA
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, organization and time management
  • High IT literacy, particularly MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting multi-country or global client portfolios
  • Familiarity with governance-led delivery models and service-level agreements
  • Professional qualification (MRICS or equivalent)
