Overview

In this role you will advance the firm’s knowledge assets in an AI-enabled environment, turning legal and client insight into structured, governance-driven knowledge. You will shape use cases and design experiences that improve how knowledge is captured, searched and reused across the firm. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are practical, secure and aligned with governance standards. This is a hands-on, product-minded position that combines legal knowledge management with technology to enhance client service and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design knowledge models, metadata approaches and content structures for AI retrieval and reuse
  • Identify workflows and opportunities for standardisation across knowledge domains
  • Align assets with firm standards, governance and taxonomy principles
  • Support AI-enabled knowledge experiences and evaluate outputs for quality, confidentiality and governance
  • Drive search, taxonomy, navigational improvements from issue to implementation
  • Maintain user-centred navigation, topic structures and filters in intranet experiences
  • Apply metadata and taxonomy to lifecycle content and ensure current, well-governed collections
  • Identify and shape practical knowledge use cases across the portfolio
  • Translate needs into requirements, prototypes, pilots and adopted improvements
  • Collaborate across content, product, search, taxonomy, data, adoption and operations to deliver reusable solutions
  • Measure adoption, user satisfaction and value to evolve knowledge products
  • Bridge legal knowledge and technology by mapping workflows and enabling AI-driven efficiency
  • Prepare content for AI via improved structure, summaries and governance
  • Contribute to pilots involving natural language search, RAG and knowledge assistants
  • Support testing and quality review of AI-enabled outputs
  • Produce guidance and updates to foster adoption of new tools and processes
  • Be hands-on across content review, taxonomy mapping, testing and documentation
  • Balance strategic thinking with practical execution to deliver governed knowledge solutions
  • Help sustain momentum on pilots, taxonomy updates and knowledge product changes

Key requirements

  • Experience improving knowledge search, intranet findability, guided content experiences or enterprise knowledge discovery in professional services or legal environments
  • Experience handling taxonomies, metadata schemas, topic structures and controlled vocabularies
  • Experience identifying or supporting knowledge/use cases across teams or portfolios
  • Ability to work across multiple workstreams and translate user needs into scalable knowledge solutions
  • Comfort operating from conceptual design to implementation and testing of content and journeys
