About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Teacher who has the knowledge and ability to carry out a leading and coordinating role in relation to managing the cases of children with complex needs, who present with behaviours that may challenge.

About you
First and foremost, you will be a qualified teacher who is passionate about ensuring education inclusion for all children, and who is able to be a champion for the most vulnerable.
You will have experience of supporting children with SEND, in particular SEMH needs. You will have a broad range of relevant experience and a strong CPD record.You will have extensive knowledge and experience of working with schools. You will have experience of management or supervision and oversight of support staff.
You will be able to work both independently and jointly with other professionals and have the confidence and knowledge to deliver training and advice to settings, often in the most challenging circumstances.
It is essential that you have the ability to work autonomously, to effectively deploy and manage resources, to support team members who may be working in emotionally challenging circumstances, and to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
You will have a thorough understanding of the factors that promote successful inclusion and be passionate about supporting settings to implement appropriate strategies which help to improve childrens attendance, engagement, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and learning.
You will have thorough knowledge and understanding of exclusion, and factors impacting attendance, including the legal processes and the SEND Code of Practice.
