Data Engineer

Overview

You will design and deliver cloud-based data solutions that integrate multiple sources, enabling advanced reporting, visualization and activation. You’ll work on data-driven marketing solutions for a new client, leveraging Salesforce and multi-cloud platforms to improve marketing performance. Expect involvement in transformation projects using AI and emerging tech to enhance data integration and campaign activation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data freshness, accuracy and trust, contributing to measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage data integrations between client systems, our platforms and external partners
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure appropriate access, validate data, and maintain documentation
• Build, scale and deploy data solutions across clients to enable data-driven activation
• Help clients maximise value from their data to improve marketing outcomes
• Contribute to future-facing marketing transformation initiatives for the agency and clients
• Create and maintain ELT pipelines to ensure data freshness and reliability

Key requirements

• Salesforce experience essential
• Background in an engineering/developer role focused on media and marketing data solutions
• Strong knowledge of marketing platforms, metrics and KPIs
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Proven record of implementing cloud-based data solutions
• Ability to manage projects and processes independently
• Understanding of business and marketing performance metrics
• Understanding of the ad/mar-tech landscape
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and numeracy for data analysis
• Collaborative with ability to train others
• Capacity to manage workloads across multiple projects
