Barrister / Solicitor Advocate – Chambers

Overview

As part of our expansion, join DWF Chambers as a Barrister or Solicitor Advocate across multiple locations. You will deliver fee-earning advocacy within core practice areas, primarily Personal Injury, with opportunities to contribute to Fraud, Commercial, Regulatory and Employment work. You will build internal and external relationships, participate in business development and CSR initiatives, and uphold professional standards. The role offers a path toward potential transfer to the Bar and active involvement in seminars and practice development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fee-earning advocacy work in line with policy
• Bill in line with financial targets set by leadership
• Build professional relationships internally and externally
• Attend Chambers business development events and seminars
• Identify key contacts and targets
• Assist planning for seminar programme and deliver at least one seminar per annum
• Contribute to CSR initiatives
• Comply with BSB Handbook and Code of Conduct
• Comply with CPD requirements
• Consider transfer to the Bar (solicitor-advocate)
• Attend and contribute to annual practice development meeting with Director of Clerking
