Overview
In this role you join WBD Advance InHouse to provide flexible in-house employment law support across secondments for a range of clients. You will engage on permanent, fixed-term, or consultancy bases, choosing assignments that fit your career goals. You’ll work across sectors, handling advisory and/or contentious matters, and contribute to a culture that values wellbeing, DEI, and flexible working. This is a client-facing, cross-sector opportunity to shape how in-house law is practiced.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver secondment assignments for clients
- Engage on flexible terms (permanent, fixed-term, or consultancy) and non-exclusive basis
- Navigate advisory and/or contentious employment matters for employers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple sectors (Energy, Tech, FS, Public, etc.)
- Support wellbeing, inclusion, and flexible working initiatives within the panel
- Represent the firm in client engagements and contribute to panel growth
Key requirements
- At least 3 years PQE as a Solicitor in England & Wales, Scotland or another Common law jurisdiction with a current practising certificate
- Demonstrable experience in contentious and/or advisory employment work for employers
- Experience in or exposure to multiple sectors listed (Energy, Tech, FS, Insurance, Public/Third Sector, Manufacturing, Transport, Retail & Hospitality)
