About us

Medinet Group is a dynamic healthcare organisation committed to delivering high-quality clinical services across the UK. Our integrated businesses – Medinet (insourcing), HealthHarmonie (community specialist services), and HealthHarmonie Minds (mental health and wellbeing services) – work collaboratively with NHS and healthcare partners to improve patient access, reduce waiting times, and drive innovation in healthcare delivery.

About the Role

As the Data Quality Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness and quality of information across our clinical and operational systems.

This is a hands on team leadership and operational role, where you will manage workloads, monitor team performance, coach and develop colleagues, oversee quality checks and audits, and act as the first point of escalation for more complex queries.

You will work closely with operational teams to identify recurring issues, improve processes and ensure information is captured accurately and consistently. You will need to be comfortable working with data and reporting, but this is not a technical data analytics or data development role. We’re looking for someone who understands data quality and administration and can lead a team effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, motivate, and support the Data Quality team, ensuring workloads are effectively managed and service levels are achieved.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to support individual development.
  • Monitor team productivity, quality, and performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Allocate workloads and prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Oversee routine data quality audits, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and compliant with organisational and regulatory standards.
  • Review and validate audit findings, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Identify trends, recurring issues, and risks within data quality and implement preventative solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve complex data quality issues, escalating significant concerns where appropriate.
  • Produce and present regular management reports on data quality performance, audit outcomes, team productivity, and improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to improve data capture processes and maintain high-quality information across clinical and operational systems.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, Caldicott Principles, NHS Data Security Standards, and organisational information governance policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating responses, preparing accurate datasets, and ensuring audit readiness.
  • Develop, review, and implement data quality procedures, guidance, and best practice.
  • Deliver training and ongoing support to team members and wider departments on data quality standards and processes.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for complex data quality queries and operational issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance data accuracy, operational efficiency, and reporting capability.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders to promote data quality best practice.
