Overview

CFO for Satispay’s Luxembourg-regulated entity overseeing financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and capital adequacy. You’ll steer a scalable finance function, align group-wide goals with banking rules, and collaborate with Group Finance to support growth. Expect responsibility for statutory reporting, liquidity management, risk oversight, and external audits in a high-regulation environment. This role offers strategic influence, leadership across finance functions, and meaningful equity participation in a fast-growing payments platform.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file local statutory accounts and regulatory reports for group consolidation with strict accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee Lux GAAP/IFRS adherence and group reporting policies across the entity
  • Manage liquidity, client funds protection, and treasury activities for surplus optimization
  • Lead risk oversight in collaboration with CRO and control functions (liquidity, capital, balance sheet)
  • Act as primary financial representative to regulators, tax authorities, and external auditors
  • Oversee Financial Control, month-end close, and management reporting for local and group stakeholders
  • Ensure scalable Finance Operations (reconciliations, AP/AR, close tasks) and strong financial controls
  • Coordinate intercompany processes and alignment with Group Finance framework

Key requirements

  • 8+ years of executive financial leadership experience in a EU financial hub or Luxembourg-regulated payment institution/bank
  • Deep knowledge of CRR/CRD, CSSF requirements, Lux GAAP/IFRS
  • Eligibility under CSSF fit-and-proper criteria for authorized director/manager
  • Proven treasury, capital, liquidity management, and regulatory reporting experience
  • Strong interaction with auditors, regulators, and supervisory authorities in a regulated environment
