Technical / Senior Technical Manager Residential & Education Background

Overview

You will lead technical delivery on residential and education projects, reporting to the Technical Director and coordinating with design teams. You’ll oversee multiple projects, including a new build school, ensuring design responsibilities, surveys, and reports align with the delivery programme. This role involves shaping project development, identifying land opportunities, and solving day-to-day issues with senior oversight. Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the project design responsibilities matrix and appointments for responsible services
• Maintain regular communication with the design team to ensure clear, effective collaboration
• Keep the Technical Director informed of all project developments
• Input into new land opportunities and related assessments
• Tender, receive instructions, and oversee site surveys and production of written reports used in the project delivery programme
• Resolve day-to-day project problems and liaise with the Technical Director for approvals

Key requirements

• Current Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager
• Experience working on educational projects
• Experience with developers preferred
• Based in or around London area (Epsom/Dorking vicinity mentioned)
