Our business develops high-performance adhesive tape solutions serving customers across automotive, cable, construction, and specialty industrial markets worldwide.We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our manufacturing site in Ashton, UK.As one of two Process Engineers on site, you will be the technical expert responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. Working across mixing, extrusion, calendering, coating, slitting, and packaging operations, you will play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing variability, and supporting business growth.What You Will Do:

Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all EHS requirementsMonitor and improve manufacturing processes to achieve quality, productivity, and delivery targetsLead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actionsDevelop and track key performance indicators such as Yield, Variability, Velocity, Run-to-Target, and ReworkIdentify and implement process, automation, and efficiency improvementsManage process modifications through the Mativ Management of Change processEstablish and sustain operational standards, SOPs, and best practicesSupport internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accreditation standardsCollaborate with Production, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and EHS teamsDevelop and coach operational teams to enhance performance and capabilityLead and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiativesPartner with Process Engineers across the global Mativ network to share best practicesABOUT MATIVMativ Holdings, Inc. is a global leader in specialty materials headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia. Degree in Engineering, preferably

Chemical EngineeringProven experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environmentStrong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experienceExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to lead root cause investigations and drive sustainable improvementsExperience working with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data analysis toolsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsHands-on approach with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levelsCommitment to safety, quality, and operational excellenceWe offer:Why Join Mativ?
