Enterprise Programme Controls & Best Practice Lead

In this leadership role, you will elevate Raytheon UK’s Programme Controls maturity and embed best practices across mission areas and leadership teams. You will drive enterprise controls and BI capabilities, delivering confidence in reporting from task-level to executive-level. As a trusted advisor, you’ll develop people, processes and tools, and shape the future of our controls capability while anchoring governance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Enterprise Controls and Business Intelligence capabilities (Project Dashboards, Task Work Packages, Connected Planning)
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the Programme Controls community
• Act as a trusted advisor on tools, processes, and ways of working across teams
• Provide best practice support for bids, start-ups, independent reviews, and major re-baselines to ensure delivery readiness
• Partner with Head of Programme Controls and Tools & Process Lead to share best practice and deliver new capabilities
• Develop and implement new capability and tools to close capability gaps for customers and the business
• Support the development of internal Programme Controls Training and contribute to the EPG Training Delivery Team
• Identify opportunities to improve programme performance and drive adoption of best practices
• Support governance activities and conduct independent reviews for business gate reviews
• Mentor and coach Programme Controls professionals and develop future talent
• Potential future line management responsibilities and support for Head of Programme Controls as needed

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Controls SME with deep knowledge of Scheduling and GA Scheduling Principles
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Proven delivery through action and credible results across teams
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Office
• Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), metrics, and project controls methodologies
• Ability to engage Programme Leadership Teams and influence decision-making
• Commercial and business awareness in complex projects
• Eligible for or holder of current SC security clearance
