Following a highly positive Estyn inspection and a period of sustained improvement, we are committed to securing excellence across every aspect of school life and ensuring that every learner fulfils their potential. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding leader with a proven track record of improving outcomes, driving high standards of teaching and learning, and inspiring colleagues through strong, values-driven leadership. Working closely with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteachers, the successful candidate will play a key strategic role in shaping the future direction of the school, leading school improvement priorities, and contributing to the continued development of an inclusive, high-performing learning community. The role requires a passionate educator who can lead by example, champion high-quality teaching and professional learning, and support the development of a curriculum that reflects the aspirations of Curriculum for Wales. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and collaboration, while promoting the well-being, achievement and personal development of all learners. At Croesyceiliog School, our values of Learning, Respect and Ambition underpin everything we do. We are proud of our inclusive ethos, strong relationships, excellent pastoral care and commitment to providing a rich range of opportunities for our pupils. We are looking for a leader who shares these values, can inspire others, and is committed to ensuring that every young person leaves our school as a confident, resilient and ambitious individual ready to succeed in the future. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to a thriving and forward-thinking school, working alongside talented colleagues who are dedicated to achieving the very best outcomes for both pupils and staff.
