Overview

In this role you drive delivery of technology projects for clients, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget and quality targets. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, customers and third-party suppliers across the full project lifecycle, from inception to handover. You’ll maintain clear governance and proactive risk and change management, providing timely progress and financial reporting. Responsibilities

  • Manage technology projects from initiation to completion, delivering against scope, timelines, budget and quality
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define objectives, requirements, deliverables, success criteria and acceptance processes
  • Develop and maintain project plans, delivery schedules, budgets, RAID logs and governance docs
  • Coordinate project teams across technical, commercial, operational and client-facing workstreams
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops and steering groups; ensure actions and decisions are tracked
  • Provide regular project reporting on progress, milestones, financials, risks and decisions
  • Identify, assess and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; escalate as needed
  • Manage change control and ensure impacts on scope, cost, time, quality and resources are understood and agreed

Key requirements

  • Demonstrable experience delivering technology projects in a client/supplier environment
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects of varying budget and complexity
  • Comfortable in fast-paced technical consultancy or managed services
  • Strong commercial awareness with ability to manage profitability, change, risks and contractual commitments
  • Proven ability to work with technical consultants, senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ability to challenge constructively, drive decisions and hold stakeholders accountable
  • Experience of Microsoft Modern Workplace, Cloud or Digital Workplace projects is highly desirable
  • Professional project management qualifications beneficial but not essential
  • British passport holder with 5 years UK residency may be required for security clearance (SC)
