Overview

Senior leader in a top-tier disputes team, shaping the growth of the Real Estate Disputes & Secured Recovery practice in London. You will oversee high-value cases across developer rights, party wall, and landlord disputes while driving client development and cross-referrals. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on litigation, within an entrepreneurial, flexible, hybrid-enabled firm. You will influence the department’s direction and build profiles with a strong commercial platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex RED&SR matters including developer/right-to-light disputes, party wall and trespass, landlord & tenant litigation, possession and mortgage claims, and contested lease renewals/forfeiture/secured recovery
• Drive client development, cross-referrals, and strategic growth of the team
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff
• Shape the department’s growth strategy and contribute to firm-wide expansion plans

Key requirements

• Experienced RED&SR lawyer with a strong track record in complex real estate disputes
• London commercial practice experience preferred
• Ability to take on leadership responsibilities at Partner level
