Relationship Manager

Overview

You will drive development finance opportunities nationwide, managing broker and client relationships and delivering lending targets. You join a specialist team focused on real estate development and bridging deals, collaborating with credit and legal teams to steer opportunities from sourcing to funding. You’ll build your network, represent the team at events, and help shape financing solutions for developers. This role offers impact through broad market coverage and cross-functional collaboration, underpinning LendInvest’s growth in property finance.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain relationships with key introducers and market contacts
• Generate internal and external referral and enquiry pipelines
• Collaborate with the Managing Director to assess new opportunities
• Undertake due diligence on prospective clients and projects
• Deliver lending and portfolio targets
• Liaise with internal departments (Regional BDM, Credit, Legal, Compliance)
• Prepare and present proposals to credit committee and stakeholders
• Facilitate and manage the commercial funding process
• Coordinate external resources to meet legal, financial and commercial requirements
• Ensure smooth operational workflows with timely, high-quality work
• Attend networking events to build personal brand and promote the team

Key requirements

• Real estate development finance experience at a similar lender is essential
• Established network of brokers, developers, investors, and other introducers
• Clear and confident communicator at all levels (face-to-face, verbal, written)
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to form personable relationships quickly
