Senior Product Designer

Overview

In this Senior Product Designer role, you’ll shape complex, scalable design systems and UX across Flo’s health platform. You’ll work with product, engineering, research, medical and content teams to craft emotionally resonant, accessible experiences at scale. You’ll drive high-fidelity prototypes and influence product direction using AI-enabled tooling, with a focus on growth, retention and user well-being. Responsibilities

• Lead complex design programs and scalable systems to support growth
• Tackle ambiguous problems, define requirements, and prioritise impactful workstreams
• Design end-to-end flows and experiments aligned with user and business goals
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and use AI to accelerate concept validation
• Evolve interaction models, motion principles, and visual systems for cross-team adoption
• Mentor peers and raise craft standards across the design group
• Advocate for accessible, ethical, and inclusive design and ensure system-wide accessibility
• Contribute to and own the design system, ensuring scalability and consistency
• Integrate AI tools into daily design practice and workflows

Key requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience designing mobile applications
• Portfolio showing systemic design, advanced prototyping, micro-interactions, and scalable solutions with measurable impact
• Experience creating scalable frameworks and contributing to design systems
• Experience designing gamified or behavior-change-driven experiences
• Proficiency in Figma and advanced prototyping (e.g., Protopie)
• Experience with motion/animation tools (Lottie, Rive, After Effects)
• Experience leveraging AI/LLM tools to accelerate design exploration (e.g., Claude, Vercel)
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to distill complex ideas for stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset with mentoring experience and raising design craft
