Overview
As Contracts Manager you will lead delivery across a portfolio of environmental schemes, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes. You will steer a team of site managers, uphold company standards, and own the programme and commercial performance from inception to handover. The role sits within a growing Northumbrian Water Living Water Enterprise, supporting large-scale AMP8 work and a multi-billion pound workload. You’ll work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to maximise impact and stakeholders’ satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Key requirements
- CSCS
- SSSTS/ SMSTS
- HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Understand civil engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of NEC3 or 4
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
