Overview

You will support the delivery of mechanical and electrical services across projects, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality installations. You’ll work with project teams, consultants and clients to plan, coordinate and manage M&E packages from pre-construction to handover. This role helps you broaden your project management and technical capabilities within a leading fit-out and construction business. You’ll gain exposure to a mix of commercial, education, healthcare and public sector projects and progress through a clear development pathway.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, coordination and delivery of M&E packages
  • Support Building Services Manager in managing subcontractors and specialist suppliers
  • Monitor progress against programme milestones and flag risks or delays
  • Attend site meetings and contribute to delivery discussions
  • Support commissioning, testing and handover activities
  • Review M&E designs, drawings and specifications
  • Assist in resolving technical queries raised during construction
  • Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors to ensure design intent is achieved
  • Support implementation of innovative and sustainable building services solutions
  • Ensure installations comply with relevant regulations and project requirements
  • Carry out site inspections and monitor quality of installations
  • Support health, safety and environmental compliance across M&E activities
  • Assist in coordinating site logistics and sequencing of works
  • Ensure defects and snagging items are identified and closed out effectively
  • Develop strong relationships with project teams, clients, consultants and supply chain partners
  • Support client reporting and project updates
  • Contribute to collaborative working across all project stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain high professional standards
