You will join a long-established Wiltshire law firm to manage a varied commercial property caseload within a supportive department. In this role, you’ll handle acquisitions, disposals, leases, landlord-tenant matters, and property finance, contributing to deal diligence and cross-team collaboration. You will deliver excellent client service, build relationships, and support business development to raise the department’s profile. Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters (freehold/leasehold acquisitions and disposals)
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial leases and related documents
  • Handle landlord and tenant issues and property finance transactions
  • Contribute to property aspects of corporate deals and due diligence
  • Deliver strong client service and assist with business development and profile raising for the department

Key requirements

  • Around 3+ years PQE in commercial property
  • Confident managing own files with minimal supervision
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of LPA 1954, title issues, planning/environmental considerations, SDLT and VAT
  • Familiarity with case management systems and Land Registry processes
  • Excellent communication and client handling skills
  • Strong attention to detail and risk awareness
  • Ability to manage deadlines, costs and expectations
