Automation Engineer – Food Manufacturing PLC & Controls Specialist

Premier Foods is seeking an Automation Engineer for our Barnsley site. The role focuses on maintaining electrical standards, supporting automation initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the site.

You will supervise engineers and contractors, manage electrical documentation, and collaborate with maintenance planning to schedule projects. A recognised apprenticeship and HNC-level education are required, with strong Allen-Bradley PLC skills preferred.
