Technology Demand Manager

Overview

In this role, you will own the end-to-end technology demand cycle, guiding inbound requests from intake to delivery. You’ll prioritise and schedule small changes and BAU work, coordinating across infrastructure teams and vendors. You will apply governance to minimise risks, costs, and delays while ensuring alignment with business stakeholders. This position offers scope to improve demand, change, and delivery processes in a regulated, professional services environment and to influence cross-functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound technology demand from intake to delivery
• Assess, scope, prioritise, and schedule small change and BAU projects
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, costs, and delivery timescales
• Coordinate internal technology teams and third-party suppliers
• Oversee supplier delivery, governance, budgets, POs, and performance
• Act as primary link between technology teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
• Drive improvements across demand, change, and delivery processes

Key requirements

• Experience managing IT demand, small change, or technology delivery
• Experience handling multiple concurrent projects/workstreams
• Experience working with infrastructure or technology teams
• Strong supplier and stakeholder management experience
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, costs, and timelines
• Experience with structured governance and change processes
• Strong project planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills
