In this role, you steer financial governance for Heathrow’s multi-million-pound capital program, ensuring value delivery for passengers, airlines and the business. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Programme Delivery to shape investment choices and manage risk within governance and regulatory frameworks. You’ll contribute to sustainable growth and exceptional infrastructure, helping the airport balance financial discipline with strategic investment. Responsibilities
- Partner with project and programme teams to provide financial leadership on capital investment decisions
- Develop robust business cases and investment appraisals to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor financial performance of the capital portfolio; identify risks and opportunities; recommend actions
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, regulatory obligations and internal controls
- Present clear, insightful analysis to senior stakeholders to influence investment priorities and outcomes
Key requirements
- Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in capital investment, project finance, or portfolio management
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with attention to detail
