Overview

In this role you lead Visa Direct’s Currencycloud tribe to move money globally. You own the tribe’s strategy, align across engineering, commercial, and operations, and drive high-impact initiatives from discovery to delivery. You’ll coach Product Managers, shape cross-tribe roadmaps, and collaborate with senior leaders to enable transparent, efficient, and scalable cross-border payments. This is a hybrid London-based opportunity with a strong emphasis on leadership and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the tribe’s product strategy aligned with platform goals
  • Lead market, customer, competitor and tech analysis to identify opportunities and risks
  • Translate strategy into clear roadmaps and backlogs for delivery across multiple teams
  • Act as accountable product lead for large cross-tribe discovery initiatives
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of critical initiatives and ensure realistic, well-sequenced plans
  • Set quality and reliability standards and remove cross-team blockers
  • Partner with GTM, Product Marketing and regional teams on go-to-market and adoption
  • Define and track key metrics and use insights to refine strategy and roadmap
  • Line-manage Product Managers, hiring and developing high-performing teams
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and establish effective ways of working

Key requirements

  • Typically 5–7+ years in product roles (fintech or tech-led environments preferred)
  • Proven ability to craft and communicate product strategy and roadmaps using market insights and data
  • Experience coaching and managing Product Managers
  • Strong prioritization, product judgment and data-informed decision making
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influence across levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in fintech domains such as payments, FX, or transaction banking is a plus
  • High agency, bias to action and ability to lead at tribe level
  • Analytical and commercially minded with a focus on meaningful outcomes
  • Comfort with challenging the status quo and making pragmatic decisions in ambiguity
  • Clear, tailored communication for executives and diverse audiences
