Production Operative Temp to Perm | Full Training Provided Pickles Recruitment is currently looking for Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity for reliable, hardworking people who are looking for a genuine long-term position within a busy and supportive production environment. Previous manufacturing or production experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential as full training will be provided. The Role As a Production Operative, you’ll work as part of an established production team and receive full training to operate specialist production equipment safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating production machinery following full training
- Following Standard Operating Procedures and site instructions
- Monitoring the production process
- Checking finished products for quality and accuracy
- Identifying and reporting any quality concerns
- Ensuring work is completed to the required standards
- Following all health & safety procedures
- Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets
- Carrying out general production and housekeeping duties as required
Shift Pattern The main roles operate on a two-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1 Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm Week 2 Monday to Thursday 2:00pm – 10:00pm Friday 12:00pm – 6:00pm There may also be opportunities to work a day shift: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm Candidates applying for the rotating shift positions must be able to work both the early and late shift patterns. About You We’re looking for candidates who:
- Ideally have previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Have a strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Take pride in producing high-quality work
- Can follow instructions and established procedures

- Work well as part of a team

- Are comfortable working in a busy production environment
