Overview
As a Security Analyst, you drive the protection of our client’s network, systems and data. You provide technical leadership for security solutions and ensure compliance with standards and policies. You will assess incidents, manage vulnerabilities, and collaborate with vendors to strengthen controls. This role offers impact across security operations, risk management, and customer compliance, in a London-based environment with potential for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for security solutions, including 3rd party managed services
- Maintain overall security of network, systems and data
- Monitor security access and manage IDS/IPS configurations
- Establish and implement security best-practice standards and departmental policies
- Oversee security scanning and remediation of vulnerabilities
- Analyse security incidents to determine root cause
- Determine, recommend, and implement upgraded security measures and controls
- Deliver security responses for customer and client compliance requirements
- Develop and manage security plans with vendors
- Audit administrator activities and conduct security awareness training
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Security leadership experience and 3rd party management
- CISSP certification preferred
- Compliance knowledge: ISO27001, PCI and GDPR
- Possibly CEH
- Knowledge of security technologies: network appliances, firewall administration, AD, IAM, PAM, SIEM, UEBA, AV, IDS/IPS and MDM
- Understanding of ITIL or LEAN (preferred)
- Exposure to desktop/laptop management, profile management, access control methodologies
