Payroll and Project Systems Specialist

Overview

In this role you will lead complex HR and payroll systems projects within DHL’s HR Shared Services, aligning work with the digitisation strategy and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate across functions and systems such as ResourceLink, Kronos, Oracle platforms, and benefit administration to design and roll out improvements. You will document current processes, develop future designs, and drive cost-benefit driven continuous improvements while ensuring controls and compliance. You will manage testing, implementation plans, and stakeholder engagement to deliver measurable impact in payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with regional HR stakeholders to provide solutions for complex payroll system issues
• Support vendor management for third-party payroll systems
• Collaborate with Global BPO and HRDO on design approvals
• Document current systems/processes, legal requirements, and internal controls
• Develop as-is and to-be designs aligned with digitalisation strategy
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and assess cost/benefit
• Align HR/payroll systems with IT architecture and maintain documentation
• Lead User Acceptance Testing and update system documentation

Key requirements

• 3+ years in-depth HR, payroll or relevant project experience
• Expert understanding of transactional HR payroll processes
• Ability to analyse payroll systems and propose optimization
• General business and operational management experience
• Basic technical knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud, Kronos Workforce Central and ResourceLink
