Overview

In this role you will Advise NHS organisations and healthcare providers on employment matters, and manage complex litigation across tribunals and higher courts. You will work within the Employment, Pensions & Immigration team to support multi-disciplinary and transactional work, including TUPE and workforce due diligence. You will train and supervise junior colleagues while contributing to business development and client relationships. Responsibilities

  • Advising NHS organisations, independent healthcare providers, and voluntary sector operators on employment matters
  • Managing complex litigation across tribunals, the EAT, Court of Appeal and High Court
  • Supporting multi-disciplinary teams on TUPE, workforce issues, and transactional due diligence
  • Delivering training and supporting client relationship management
  • Supervising junior colleagues and contributing to business development

Key requirements

  • 4+ years PQE in employment law, ideally with health and care sector experience
  • Strong litigation and/or advocacy skills with confidence in managing complex cases
  • TUPE and transactional experience including drafting and advising on workforce aspects
  • Experience in restructures, redundancy processes, and employee relations issues
  • Strong technical and drafting skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
