Overview
As a Senior Privacy Analyst, you support the Privacy Office to sustain the global data protection program across practice groups and business services. You operationalise privacy requirements, maintain key documentation, and handle assessments and data subject rights tasks. You contribute to privacy-by-design initiatives and mentor colleagues, working closely with the Senior Privacy Manager. This role sits at the intersection of policy, process, and delivery within a leading law firm. You will help scale privacy operations to protect client and firm data.
Responsibilities
- Complete privacy impact assessments and DPIAs, including vendor and technology due diligence for AI and innovative legal tech tools
- Coordinate and manage data subject rights requests, including DSARs and erasure requests
- Maintain Privacy Office template documentation, communications and records
- Assist with data incident investigation and reporting
- Provide practical day-to-day privacy guidance to colleagues on projects and change initiatives with privacy-by-design at the core
- Project manage internal initiatives to improve internal processes for data protection compliance
- Mentor less experienced team members in collaboration with the Senior Privacy Manager
Key requirements
- Substantial experience in a privacy operations function, preferably in a top-tier global law firm or banking/finance
- Strong organizational skills; autonomous with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex data protection requirements to diverse stakeholders
- Collaborative team player with ability to influence stakeholders across teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
