Lead Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the technical direction of a core product area while staying hands-on. You will shape architecture, design mission-critical software, and drive engineering standards across the team. You’ll mentor engineers, influence product choices, and review code to maintain quality at scale. You’ll build secure, reliable, and scalable systems and remain genuinely hands-on as you own technical outcomes. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership opportunity in a fast‑moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and architecture of a core product area

Key requirements

• Strong experience with C++, Java, Rust, Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience building complex production software
• Strong architecture and system design skills
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers
• Interest in modern AI development tools
• Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, embedded systems, ML or security experience is a bonus
