CAD Engineer – Rail

Overview

In this role you will help establish a baseline GIS system for the Elizabeth Line by managing CAD drawings and 3D models, under the guidance of the Crossrail GIS Manager. You will act as a self-starting, results-focused contributor who resolves issues within the defined framework. You will work closely with delivery contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, organized spatial data. This is a hands-on position in Stratford, contributing to long-term asset management for a major rail project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and organize CAD drawings and 3D models for the GIS baseline
• Collaborate with the Crossrail GIS Manager and interface between delivery contractors and client
• Act as a self-starter to resolve problems within the established framework
• Support data collection and integration to enable future asset management
• Work in Stratford during office hours
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across a large volume of CAD outputs
