Umbilicals Proposals Engineer

Overview

In this role you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to develop execution plans and bid responses for Umbilical projects. You will manage proposals from budgeting to commercial content, aligning client needs with TU requirements. You’ll oversee risk, schedule, and handover processes to ensure compliant, competitive ITT responses. This role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a growth-focused environment within the Proposals Department.

Responsibilities

• Generate budgetary and firm proposals per the Proposal Procedure
• Create schedule/commercial proposals in response to ITT
• Contribute to Obeya routine with regular updates and meetings
• Coordinate Manufacturing Readiness Levels assessment via risk review and manage risks in the RMA system
• Ensure POs reflect client and TU scope of supply/work for lump-sum price
• Provide commercial guidance translating client inquiries and orders to internal teams
• Organise hand-over meetings after contract award with project management
• Assist Sales Unit Development Department and other TU/TechnipFMC groups as required
• Monitor, register and expedite progress of existing proposals
• Contribute to department improvement and implementation of QHSE procedures

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent in an engineering related subject
• Knowledge of Umbilical product highly desirable
