Avionic Systems Engineer

Overview

In this role you join the Systems Engineering Team to help design and validate avionics for helicopters and uncrewed air systems. You will translate customer requirements into system-level solutions, work with external suppliers, and support integration and flight test activities. The role combines hands-on design with cross-functional collaboration in a world-leading aerospace setting. You will grow under mentoring from senior engineers and contribute to advancing avionics across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and qualify avionic systems to meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with customers to derive system-level requirements
• Manage external suppliers to deliver compliant equipment
• Work with systems integration and testing to prove and qualify avionics

Key requirements

• Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics / Aeronautical
• Interest in a technical team within an aerospace company
• Passion for developing solutions for current and future helicopters and UAS
• Desire to continue learning and develop technical skills
• Security clearance or eligibility for BPSS/NSV/SC/DV
