Overview

In this field-based role, you’ll drive growth for Teya’s financial platform by winning new local business customers and expanding in target segments. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions, build trust through consultative sales, and uplift the merchant experience. Your success hinges on proactive prospecting, strong relationship building, and delivering value-led outcomes at scale. This is a performance-driven role in a fast-growing, mission-driven fintech that serves local communities across Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently reach KPIs with minimal guidance and maintain accurate CRM, reporting and pipeline visibility
  • Proactively identify and engage prospective customers within your territory through outbound outreach, networking and referrals
  • Meet customers face-to-face to understand their needs and goals, building trust through consultative conversations and value-led sales
  • Expand Teya’s reach into new segments and win larger, high-value and multi-location clients using past connections
  • Develop knowledge across Teya’s products and train others through coaching and knowledge-sharing
  • Share insights on customer needs, competitors and market opportunities to improve products, messaging and merchant experience, and identify partnership potential
  • Get involved in cross-functional strategic projects and suggest improvements impacting results and quality
  • Represent Teya as a credible, professional ambassador within your territory
  • Build long-term customer relationships by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales culture that values learning and continuous improvement

Key requirements

  • Verifiable track record of quota attainment
  • Strong prospecting discipline and pipeline management
  • Sound commercial judgement and negotiation capability
  • Competitive mindset and genuine desire to win
  • Strong experience in a customer-facing or sales-related role (field-based experience is a strong advantage)
  • Confidence building relationships and engaging new customers
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills, especially in a field-based environment
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving business
  • Proactive, self-driven mindset and willingness to learn and develop
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Fluency in English
  • Full UK driving licence
