Overview
In this role you will join a close-knit Real Estate Finance team within a prestigious boutique City law firm to advise lenders and borrowers on high‑quality real estate finance transactions, including private capital clients such as family offices and UHNW investors. You will manage transactions end‑to‑end, often with an international dimension, covering development, refinancing, acquisitions, investment facilities, security, and intercreditor agreements. The position offers progression in a collaborative, supportive culture with a strong client base and development opportunities. This is a chance to shape complex deals for sophisticated clients in a top‑tier environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage real estate finance transactions from start to finish for lenders and borrowers
- Involve development, refinancing, acquisitions, and investment activities
- Prepare and negotiate facilities, security documents, and intercreditor agreements
- Advise on cross-border/international financing scenarios
- Collaborate with a private capital client base (family offices, UHNW investors, asset managers, private banks)
Key requirements
- 5-7 PQE in Real Estate Finance
- England & Wales Qualified
- Experience in real estate finance within a top firm
- Experience handling transactions for both borrowers and lenders
