In this Engineer II role within Hudl’s Athlete Performance group, you build high-performance mobile apps and core data services for iOS and Android, enabling real-time sensor data to inform coaching decisions. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver feature-rich mobile experiences and scalable back-end services. You translate complex biomechanical data into actionable metrics for coaches, athletes, and medical staff. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product, Design and Scrum to deliver mobile and back-end features
- Own feature development, define low-latency interfaces, and build user-facing features from sensor data
- Write high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and solve technical problems
- Work on real-time data streaming and cloud/mobile architecture to power applications
- Grow technical skills through mentorship and architecture discussions
- Translate complex sensor data into clear, actionable insights for end users
Key requirements
- Mobile experience with native or cross-platform apps, ideally React Native
- Systems mindset with experience in streaming data across mobile and back-end
