Senior Software Engineer (AI products)

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build AI-powered features and automations that address priority business challenges and are deployed in cloud environments. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to prototype rapidly, validate ideas, and evolve solutions from discovery to production with CI/CD, monitoring and support. The role blends hands-on coding with AI technologies, software architecture and DevOps to deliver real value. Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered features, agents and automated workflows to address business priorities
• Prototype and validate ideas with stakeholders using AI-enabled approaches
• Utilize AI tools (Claude/Copilot) to move solutions from discovery to production
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud deployments
• Productionise prototypes into secure, maintainable internal applications
• Champion AI usage to boost engineering productivity and delivery speed

Key requirements

• Translating business challenges into working digital products through rapid iteration
• Strong stakeholder collaboration, product judgment and practical delivery bias
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude) to deliver prototypes and production-ready solutions
• Designing and building modern web apps, dashboards, APIs, and internal tools
• Full-stack engineering across frontend, backend, data, and integrations
• Deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
• Implementing CI/CD, IaC and automated deployment processes
• Building production services with monitoring, alerting and observability
• Designing and consuming APIs and data integrations
• Solid understanding of software architecture, security, performance, and scalability
• Evaluating emerging AI technologies to improve outcomes
