Overview

In this role you will help shape a brand-new inventory function within DHL’s start-up operation. You will lead inventory control activities, drive accuracy, and implement improvements across warehouse, customer, and ERP systems. You’ll build relationships with customers, manage escalations, and report performance against key KPIs. This is a hands-on leadership position in a growing team, offering exposure to governance, audits, and financial controls. Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control activities including cycle counts, stocktakes, reconciliations, investigations, and audits to maintain stock accuracy
• Manage inventory discrepancies across warehouse, customer and ERP systems; implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure robust governance of customer-owned inventory with accurate reporting, traceability and accountability
• Build strong customer relationships, manage inventory escalations, and provide performance reporting against contractual KPIs
• Support audit compliance, financial controls, and inventory improvement initiatives across the operation

Key requirements

• Experience in inventory management within a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, and WMS
• Analytical skills with Microsoft Excel proficiency and problem-solving capability
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with focus on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
