Software Engineer – Apollo Platform

Overview

In this role, you will contribute to the Apollo platform, building scalable, mission-critical software that automates and orchestrates deployment across a wide range of environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer problems into robust solutions, impacting both commercial and government deployments. The role emphasizes high-quality engineering in a fast-paced, feedback-driven setting, with opportunities to influence platform design and deployment workflows. You’ll work on systems that run at scale and require strong reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly available systems for orchestration of software deployment across hundreds of production environments
• Identify and solve customer problems with tight feedback loops
• Collaborate with other teams on cross-boundary issues
• Debug complex issues and performance problems across the stack

Key requirements

• Experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or similar field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Golang, C++, or equivalent
• Ability to learn and work independently with minimal direction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills to evolve complex systems
